Our Mission
Tools for Living is dedicated to the development and test marketing of devices and Systems intended to enhance the quality of life of elderly people, or people with learning difficulties, who are being cared for in the community.
Enhancing the quality of life includes providing security, facilitating self-care and medicine concordance (compliance) and access to information, entertainment and contact with other people. Tools for Living Ltd. has constructed and test marketed devices ranging from simple mechanical aids for sufferers from Motor Neurone Disease, rapid access talking devices for patients who had lost the power of speech, interactive monitoring systems in homes (Millennium Homes), and Shopping systems for housebound people (The Companion), and which has been trialled for three years in Bristol.
